Account and Data Deletion

Users can request deletion of their LumaSpeak account and associated data at any time using one of the methods below.

Option 1: Delete Your Account in the App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the LumaSpeak app:

  1. Open the LumaSpeak app
  2. Go to the "Speak" or "Progress" tab
  3. Tap the settings gear icon in the top right corner
  4. Scroll down to find the red "Delete Account" button
  5. Tap it and confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog

Your account will be deleted immediately upon confirmation.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

  • Send an email to: support@lumaspeak.com
  • Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Include the email address associated with your LumaSpeak account

Email requests are verified and processed within 30 days.

What Data is Deleted

  • Account information (email, profile)
  • App activity and learning data
  • Stored AI interactions

What Data May Be Retained

Transaction records required for legal or accounting purposes may be retained for up to 90 days after account deletion.
