Je route past zich aan wat je al kunt zeggen en opent de volgende fase zodra je er klaar voor bent.
Alles om het gesprek op gang te houden.

Warm en uitnodigend. Tik op een stem om hem te horen. Het voorbeeld is in het Engels; in de app gebruikt Luma die stem in het العربية.
Vooral العربية, met wat Nederlands om je op weg te helpen.

Yes. Luma starts at complete beginner (A1): she greets you in Arabic, keeps most of the conversation in your own language at first and moves more of it into Arabic as you go. Coach suggestions stay on for beginners, so you always know what you could say next, and the first lessons cover greetings, numbers and everyday phrases.
No. You can start speaking on day one and turn on a romanization alongside the Arabic, in the conversation and on your vocabulary cards, so a word you can already say is never blocked by letters you can't read yet. The script gets familiar as you go, and one day you stop looking at the romanization.
As you talk, in the transcript. A slip like "أنا ٢٥ سنة" is highlighted with the fix beside it, "عمري ٢٥ سنة", and a Why? that explains it in a line. The conversation keeps going. Your slips then come back as quick drills, so the fix sticks.
Modern Standard Arabic — the fusha you'll read in the news, hear on TV and use in class or at work, understood from Morocco to Oman. Luma keeps it plain and conversational rather than literary, so what you practise is usable. The everyday dialects, Egyptian, Levantine and Gulf, aren't separate options in the app yet.
Yes. Every day includes a free conversation with Luma, plus basic vocabulary practice. Luma Max unlocks unlimited conversations, all scenarios and full personalization, with monthly and yearly plans and a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan.
Yes. Tell Luma what you need, in your own words, and she builds the conversation around it: ordering coffee, haggling at the souk, taking a taxi, meeting colleagues, introducing yourself properly. There are hundreds of roleplays and lessons to pick from too, at every level.
