Coach suggestions stay on for beginners, so you always know what you could say next, and the first lessons cover greetings, numbers and everyday phrases.

Luma speaks every line out loud at a normal pace, you can play any sentence again as often as you like, and you answer by talking rather than typing — so the gap between the spelling and the sound closes from the side that matters. Swallowed endings and the soft d stop being a surprise once you've said them a few hundred times yourself.
