The words are spelled exactly as they sound, there's no gender and no future tense — and then there are fifteen cases, so the word itself changes where English would add a small word. Nobody memorises that list into fluency. You get it by saying kahvia, mökille and Helsingissä often enough that the endings come out on their own.
